1).Calcium Metal,Melting point 845°C,Boiling point 1484°C.

2).Reacts with water to form explosive hydrogen gas.

3).May ignite or explode on contact with steam or moist air.

4).May re-ignite after fire is extinguished.

3.Application

1).Calcium Metal is mainly used to manufacture alloy byaluminium,copper and lead.

2).Calcium Metal acts as the reductive in the production of beryllium and act as the doxidizer in the production of alloy.

3).Calcium metal is also used for dehydrogenation of the grease.
